ABOUT
Christopher Justin, singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer, is an emerging Rock/Pop Kiwi solo artist, who is gaining intense interest in New Zealand and overseas.
Influenced by acts such as AC/DC, Deep Purple, Trapeze, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer and Guthrie Govan, he began composing his own music from the age of 8, writing songs for his Auckland-based band Slipstream. As the band’s singer/songwriter/guitarist, he co-produced the band’s debut EP in 2017 at the age of 16 whilst still at high school (Rosmini College).
Christopher Justin later utilised his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and transitioned his career into solo composition. In late 2019 (at the age of 18), he recorded and produced his first self-titled solo debut album. The album was recorded at The Depot (Devonport) and BigPop (Auckland CBD) recording studios in New Zealand. All vocals, instruments and percussion on the album are performed by Christopher Justin, with the exception of keyboards on Miles Apart (performed by Filip Kus) and drums on all tracks (George Brajkovich on Miles Apart and One Last Time, and James Armstrong on the rest of the album).
The singles and album are being well received locally as well as overseas, so be sure to keep up with the latest content to find out about more on Christopher Justin’s Instagram linked on the Spotify Artist page.
